Sarah Watters, PhD

As Wellth’s consulting Behavioral Scientist, Sarah applies her expertise in behavioral science in health contexts by designing strategies to drive sustained behavior change among Wellth members and, ultimately, health outcomes for Wellth’s customers. Sarah is constantly digging into the evidence base to bring the latest and greatest research insights to Wellth’s programs.  

Prior to Wellth, Sarah has worked on healthcare challenges in a variety of contexts and has conducted a significant amount of research, including leading the evaluation of European Commission-backed healthcare IT initiative with older populations across 4 European countries. She has also leveraged her expertise to understand healthcare product positioning alongside patient and physician decision making regarding new pharmaceuticals and treatment options.

Sarah holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Waterloo, and an MSc and PhD in Social Policy and Behavioral Science from the London School of Economics. She lives in New York City and spends her free time writing, traveling, and getting together with friends and family.
